Sporty Driving for 1BOX Cars

Wheels designed for typical 1BOX cars must comply with the JWL-T technical standard, a strength standard stricter than that for ordinary passenger vehicles. As a result, increased weight is difficult to avoid, making the balance between strength and weight reduction a major challenge.
TE37SB was developed with the concept of viewing the 1BOX car as a “Sports Box.” Its newly designed inner rim suppresses flex, delivering high strength and rigidity with ample margin to meet JWL-T standards. At the same time, weight reduction was pursued, achieving an approximate weight of 7.5 kg in the 17×6 1/2J size.
Now, as TE37 celebrates its 30th anniversary, a commemorative model carrying on that philosophy makes its debut.
Based on the modern TE37SB, equipped with the latest performance, this model subtly incorporates spoke stickers and anniversary-specific details as a tribute to the original TE37.
Although it is a commemorative model, the goal was not excessive decoration.
It refines the true essence of VOLK RACING: lightweight performance, high rigidity, and high strength, while marking 30 years of history.
Not overly assertive, yet undeniably special.
