57XR, the third model of the gram Lights 57 R Series, is supported in various scenes including the top category drift racing.
For new 57XR-X, the competitive 2×6 spoke design inherited from 57XR was redesigned in a special way such that the wheels match vehicles for which large PCD wheels are used, such as Land Cruiser Prado, Hilux, and Hiace. The characteristics of 57XR are sharp spokes and the appearance that looks larger thanks to the spokes fully stretching to the rim ends. 57XR-X also has these characteristics and Speed-Brick Rim Type-1 was adopted for the rim well. In addition to incorporating a tough and wild design that does not lose its strength to the large body mass of vehicles with large PCD wheels, limiting target vehicle types made it possible to draw attractive concaves in the largest size. Furthermore, 57XR-X is equipped with the functionality－knurling finish that reduces shift of the tires and wheels to the rotation direction－that is useful in active driving. The new model also has many appealing design details such as stereoscopic logos at various sections that symbolize that the wheels are RAYS original model.

RAYS patented technique A.M.T. was used to machine the logo on the side of spokes. We focus on achieving the embossing look, so the logo was carved before the painting and finished only in one color. The special stereoscopic logo is provided at a location where providing a logo by casting is impossible and which enhances the originality of this model nonchalantly.
Rim flanges and spokes
The spokes were fully stretched to the outline of the thick rim flanges, which provides the strength desired for vehicles with large PCD wheels and at the same time makes the spokes look longer and stylish. Simple joining was avoided and the details enhance the layering look, which causes the spokes with concaves to look more three-dimensional.
Knurling finish provided at the bead seat sections suppresses shift of the wheels and tires that often occurs when large traction is applied and minimizes the traction loss and changes in the tire balance. Reliable functionality in extreme off-road conditions is also a huge advantage of 57XR-X.
Speed-Brick Rim Type-1
Speed-Brick Rim Type-1－design in which the rim well sections were shaved in brick patterns－was adopted. This new design was devised to match the design of typical sport wheels to the volume of target vehicles with large PCD wheels without stress.
