“The 05X is designed with a focus on the North American market, which is known for its popularity in pickups and off-road vehicles. It incorporates traditional 5-spoke design elements while utilizing RAYS original forging technology to create a modern design.
The wide spokes of the 05X, which are designed to match the substantial body mass of 4×4 vehicles, feature weightless holes at the spoke ends and ribs in the center circle area, adding intricate details to the overall simple design.
Of course, similar to the previously debuted 07X, the 05X offers a wide range of rim depths and face profiles,
allowing for optimal combinations for each size. Furthermore, the 05X is designed to meet the essential 2600lbs load capacity required in the market. It has been engineered to withstand heavy-duty use in heavyweight 4×4 vehicles.”

Design Mold Form Forging Method

RAYS employs an original design mold forging method to maximize the potential of wheels in terms of high strength, rigidity, and lightweight properties. This method is used to create designs without interrupting the forging process, ensuring a continuous flow of the design.

Advanced Machining Technology

RAYS employs their patented technology, Advanced Machining Technology, to engrave logos on the outer periphery of the disk surface. To add accents to what can often be a monotonous disk shape,
careful consideration is given to the placement of text to ensure it complements the overall balance.

Optimized rim depth and face profile for each size

In the case of the 05X, several rim options ranging from S to LL sizes are available, combined with face profiles from FACE-1 to FACE-3. These combinations are designed to achieve the optimal shape, taking into consideration the calipers of the target vehicles. The goal is to create a dimensional and impactful profile that best fits the chosen size.

Center Circle Rib

These are ribs placed around the outer circumference of the center circle. By adding ribs at the transition point from the disk’s top surface to the recessed center circle, a three-dimensional design is achieved. Even on a flat surface, the presence of these ribs adds depth and dimension to the overall appearance.’
